Since 1994, the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), through its subdisidary organ, the Francophonie Institute for Sustainable Development (IFDD) has been following negotiations under the auspices of the United Nations (the fight against climate change, the fight against desertification and the protection of biodiversity). This support translates into capacity building and the provision of technical tools to the delegates (Negotiation Guides, Summary for Decision Makers, Online Guides, Application for Mobile ...) for their ease of approval of the stakes Conferences of the Parties (COPs) and to take into account their national concerns. In preparation for the 14th session of the Conferences of the Parties (CDP14) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), the IFDD produces the Negotiations Handbook and Summary for Policy Makers in partnership with the UNCCD Secretariat. the Convention.
